If you apply for an Azlo account, we ask for a few pieces of identifying information, including your Social Security number, legal name, address, and details about your business.
Why? Every banking institution is required to verify certain details before opening an account, and this information allows us to do that. It also helps us know if we can support you as a customer. When you apply, we'll also ask for and confirm your email address and mobile phone number. This contact information is extremely important: we’ll use your mobile phone number to send you verification codes via text message, and your email address to send you account updates, such as deposit confirmations.
