Linking another bank account

How to link an external bank account

Heads up—you can only link another account in your name. If someone else would like to send you money, ask them to give you a check or send you a transfer with your Azlo account and routing numbers.

  1. Log in to your Azlo account on the web or our mobile app.
  2. Select the Move Money button at the top of the page.
  3. You’ll see the option to link a new external account; click or tap on that.
  4. You’ll see a list of banks, and you can type in your other bank’s name to search.
  5. Enter your other bank’s username and passphrase to securely link the two accounts.

If you’re not able to find your bank on the list, we won’t be able to link it through Azlo. You may still be able to transfer money from that account by initiating the transfer on their end.

What if I can’t find my bank on the list? Can you add it?

All the banks on the list use a service called Plaid, which allows you to instantly link and verify other accounts that use this service. In order to appear on the list, your other bank would have to opt-in and implement Plaid.

That means that if you’re not able to find your bank on the list, we won’t be able to link it through Azlo. You may still be able to transfer money from that account by initiating the transfer on their end.

How to schedule a transfer

  1. Log in to your Azlo account on the web or our mobile app.
  2. Tap or click the Move money button.
  3. Select your linked account.
  4. Enter the amount you’d like to transfer.
  5. If you'd like to transfer money out of Azlo rather than in, tap or click the blue circle icon.
  6. You'll also have the option of scheduling the transfer for the future (tap the calendar icon) or adding a note.
  7. Select Transfer to confirm.

Transfer timelines

  • Moving money from Azlo to another account takes 1-3 business days.
  • Moving money from another account into Azlo takes 4-5 business days.
  • If you schedule a transfer before 5:15 pm PT (8:15 pm ET) on a business day, it will start processing that day

Can I cancel a transfer?

If you schedule a transfer for a future date, you can cancel it up until the day it starts processing. After that, the transfer can’t be canceled. Transfers that are scheduled same-day start processing immediately and cannot be canceled.

Here’s how to locate and cancel an upcoming transfer.

On the web

  1. Log in to your Azlo account.
  2. Click See all at the top of your transaction list.
  3. Click Transfers. The upcoming transfer should be at the top of the list.
  4. Click on the transfer you’d like to cancel, and then click the Cancel transfer button.
  5. You’ll be asked to confirm, and then the transfer will be canceled.

On the mobile app

  1. Log in to your Azlo account
  2. Tap History at the top of your transaction list.
  3. Select Upcoming to view your scheduled transactions.
  4. Tap the transfer you’d like to cancel, and then tap the trash icon in the top-right corner of the screen.
  5. You’ll be asked to confirm, and then the transfer will be canceled.

How do I un-link an account?

  1. Log into Azlo on the web or mobile app.
  2. Select the "Move Money" bar and search for the account you'd like to delete.
  3. Click or tap on the account you'd like to delete.
    1. If you're on a computer, select the "Edit" link and then delete the linked account.
    2. If you're on the mobile app, tap the trash icon to delete the linked account.
