Paying bills with your account and routing number

You can make many payments with your Azlo account and routing number. If you choose this option, here are the key things you should know.

Setting up the payment

You'll need your Azlo account and routing numbers. The merchant might also ask for the bank name and address; if they do, give them the information for our partner bank:

Bank Name: BBVA USA
Address: 15 South 20th Street, Birmingham, AL 35233

These payments typically take 1-5 business days to be debited from your Azlo account.

What happens if the payment exceeds your available balance

If the payment exceeds your available balance, it shouldn't go through. We recommend reaching out to the merchant and arranging to make the payment later (when your balance will cover it) or through other means.

A note about eChecks

Sometimes, a merchant will use your account and routing number to try and draw an eCheck off your account. (An eCheck, if you're not familiar with them, is pretty much what it sounds like ... an electronic version of a paper check.) Since Azlo doesn't support personal checks withdrawals, eCheck debits won't work either.
