When you sign up with Stripe Atlas, they’ll help you set up a business bank account. The account will automatically be set up to receive deposits from Stripe; you can also use it for other business banking purposes.
This bank account may be with Azlo, depending on your business type. Right now, Azlo is offering business accounts to Stripe Atlas customers with LLCs.

If you haven’t heard of Azlo before, let us introduce ourselves. We specialize in offering functional, digital, fee-free business banking to small business owners and entrepreneurs like you. We’re here to help you succeed, and we can’t wait to get started.
Our services are offered in partnership with BBVA Compass, member FDIC.
Once your Azlo account is opened, we’ll send you an email that will allow you to log in to Azlo and create a password. We’ll also ask you to enter a mobile phone number so we can send you security codes. If you have any trouble logging in, send us an email at firstname.lastname@example.org or give us a call at 844-295-6466.
After you’ve created a password, you can log in anytime from our sign-in page or with our mobile app.
As soon as your account is opened, you can log in and start using it. There are a few ways to move money in.
- If you have another U.S. bank account, you can link it and transfer money into Azlo.
- You can also send transfers with third-party payment services like Stripe, Square, Transferwise, Xoom, Paypal, and others.
- You can accept domestic and international wires.
- Finally, you can deposit checks with our mobile app. Heads up: right now, we’re only able to process checks issued by U.S. banks.

Your debit card will arrive about 7-10 business days after your account is approved. We’ll send it to your business address; once it arrives, you can activate it right away through our website or mobile app.

Is there a minimum balance for my account?
Nope, your Azlo account doesn’t have a minimum balance. Of course, you’ll want to move some funds in so you can put your new account to use, but you don’t have to worry about minimum balance fees or other hassles from us.
How do I update my account information?
If you need to update any of the information on your account (address, legal name, business name, email, etc), please send an email to email@example.com or give us a call at 844-295-6466.
Do you charge any fees?
Nope, we don’t charge fees for any of our services. That means no overdraft fees, no maintenance fees, no minimum balance fees, or anything of the sort.
It is possible that you’ll be charged a fee by other businesses, however, when you use your Azlo account. For example, if you use an out-of-network ATM, the ATM owner will likely charge a fee.
What features does Azlo offer?
With Azlo, you can:
- Create and send email invoices to your clients, and accept payments via your connected Stripe account, check, or interbank transfer.
- Send payments to anyone in the U.S. with just their account and routing number.
- Deposit checks with your phone.
- Use your Azlo Visa debit card to make purchases anywhere Visa is accepted, and withdraw cash from 55,000 fee-free ATMs.

What ATMs can I use?
BBVA Compass, our partner bank, partners with the Allpoint Network; any of their 55,000 ATMs will be entirely free to use. You can use their handy ATM locator to find the nearest in-network ATM.
Are my funds insured by the FDIC?
Yes, Azlo accounts are held by our partner, BBVA Compass, Member FDIC. That means your deposits are insured up to the FDIC limit of up to $250,000 per depositor, per insured bank, for each account ownership category. Learn more at the FDIC website: https://www.fdic.gov/
Are there any common features you don’t offer?
Since our banking services are completely online, there isn’t a way to deposit cash directly into your Azlo account. We also don’t currently offer checkbooks or outgoing wire transfers—but you can send fee-free payments via interbank transfers.
How can I send money back to my local non-US bank account?
It’s not possible to transfer money internationally directly through Azlo, but you can use a third-party international transfer service like Xoom, Transferwise, or Currencies Direct.
When will you offer international transfers?
You’ll be able to start sending money to Mexico with Azlo very soon (and we’ll let you know when this feature is ready for you). We’re also planning to support international transfers with many more counties by late 2018.
What are your security and privacy policies?
Can I invite my business partner or co-founder?
Not right now—Azlo doesn’t support accounts with multiple users. This is something we’re planning to offer in the future, and we’ll let you know as we have news.

Integration between Stripe and Azlo is in accordance with the authorization you provided Stripe to allow Stripe to initiate funds transfers and information sharing between your account at Stripe and your Azlo account held at BBVA Compass.
