Moving Money Out of Azlo

In preparation for the closure of Azlo and all accounts on 3/31/2021, you should draw your account to a zero balance. Here are the different methods, with step-by-step guides, to move money out of Azlo.

In addition to these options, you can also initiate a debit from an external source or use your Azlo debit card to make purchases and draw to a zero balance.

Transfer funds to a linked bank account

You can link your bank account and move your funds to that account. You can only link accounts that are in your name.

How to link an external bank account

  1. Log in to your Azlo account on the web or our mobile app.
  2. Select the Move Money button at the top of the page.
  3. You’ll see the option to link a new external account; click or tap on that.
  4. You’ll see a list of banks, and you can type in your other bank’s name to search.
  5. Enter your other bank’s username and passphrase to securely link the two accounts.

If you’re not able to find your bank on the list, we won’t be able to link it through Azlo. You may still be able to transfer money from that account by initiating the transfer on their end.

How to schedule a transfer

  1. Log in to your Azlo account on the web or our mobile app.
  2. Tap or click the Move money button.
  3. Select your linked account.
  4. Enter the amount you’d like to transfer
  5. You'll also have the option of scheduling the transfer for the future (tap the calendar icon) or adding a note.
  6. Select Transfer to confirm.

Instant transfers

Note: Instant transfers out of Azlo will be disabled on March 15, 2021.

Instant transfers are made with a debit card through the card network. The card network processes transactions in real-time, allowing you to transfer money almost instantly.

If instant transfers are enabled for your account, you can transfer money out of your Azlo account by taking the following steps:

  1. Log in to your Azlo account.
  2. Click the “Move Money” button in the upper right-hand corner. If you're using instant transfers for the first time, you'll see the option to enable them from this menu.
  3. If you haven’t already linked a debit card, press the “Link New Card” button to enter and save your card information.
  4. Select your linked card, then choose the transfer direction and amount.
  5. You’ll be prompted to review and confirm the transfer before it’s sent.

There's a daily limit of $2,000 on instant transfers out of Azlo with a monthly cumulative limit of $10,000.
